Accessibility

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Good Old Bytes wants the site to be readable and usable for as many people as possible. We are building the site with clear text, strong contrast, simple navigation, and keyboard-friendly design.

Our accessibility goals

  • Use clear headings and page structure.
  • Keep text readable on desktop, tablet, and phone screens.
  • Use alt text for important images when possible.
  • Make links and buttons easy to see.
  • Keep navigation simple and predictable.
  • Avoid flashing, loud, or forced motion effects.

Known limits

This site may discuss old software, old websites, screenshots, manuals, ads, and archived pages. Some old images may include small text, poor contrast, or designs that were not accessible when made. When we use those images, we try to add context in the article text.

Browser and device support

The site is designed to work in modern browsers and on common screen sizes. If something does not work well on your device, please tell us what page you used and what happened.

Feedback

If you find a problem, use the Contact page. Please include the page URL, your device or browser if you know it, and what made the page hard to use.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is not a one-time job. We will keep improving the site as we add pages, images, menus, and article layouts.
